A 17-year-old youth has been charged with attempted robbery and firearm offences after an incident in Leicester earlier this week.
The incident relates to an attempted robbery in St Peters Road on Tuesday evening (17 April). During the incident, a 28-year-old sustained minor head injuries and was taken hospital for treatment.
The youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with attempted robbery, possessing an imitation firearm and witness intimidation.
He appeared at Leicester Magistrates’ Court yesterday (20 April) where he was remanded to appear at Leicester Crown Court at a later date.
