50-year-old man assaulted by teenage youths in Leicester

The victim was outside a store in Sturdee Road at around 6.30pm on Monday 4 June.

The victim was assaulted, leaving him with a number of facial injuries, which he received hospital treatment for. He has since been discharged.

Detective Constable Adrian Davies said: “This happened in the early evening when there would have been a number of people in the area.”

“We are asking anyone who saw the incident or has any further information to please get in touch with us. Did you see a group of young people in the area? Do you have any CCTV from the street or the surrounding area at the time of the incident?”
