A third man has been charged with murder following the death of a 21-year-old man in the St Matthews area of Leicester.
Abdourahmaane Sidibe, 20, from Spinney Hills has been charged with the offence following the death of Mohammed Jibreel in September.
Mr Jibreel was found injured in a street on the St Matthews estate on 23 September. He had sustained a stab wound and was taken to hospital, where he sadly died during the early hours of the next morning.
Leicestershire Police subsequently launched a murder enquiry and arrested two men in connection with the death. Both men pleaded not guilty and remain in police custody. They are due to stand trial at a later date.
Sidibe appeared at Leicester Magistrates Court on Saturday 20 June, where he was charged with murder. He remains in police custody and is due to appear at Leicester Crown Court on Monday.
