Ashby man died from stab wounds as woman posts chilling message on Facebook 24 hours before

A man found dead in a house in Ashby, died as a result of stab wounds, a post mortem has revealed. He has been named as 25-year-old Warren Hall.

An injured woman and unhurt little girl were also found in the house.

The woman was named as Mr Hall’s ex-girlfriend Sandie Rayne who is also 25. She remains in a critical condition in hospital having been air lifted from the scene.

The incident occurred on Thursday 9th March at Holland Crescent in Ashby.

Social media has been abuzz with reports about what may have happened inside the house.

The young mother had posted a series of desperate pleas on Facebook in the days leading up to the incident.

A day before the incident, Sandie wrote that she: “Wants to run away… somewhere no one knows you or your business and just start all over again… if anyone knows a place let me know.”

Sandie’s two-year-old daughter is being looked after by relatives.

Police are still investigating what happened at the bungalow, but are not looking for anybody else.
