The body of a man has been found in a public park in Rushey Mead in Leicester.
The man was found in Rushey Fields on Thursday evening and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency services were called to the park by concerned residents.
The man has not been named yet and Police have said they are not treating the death as suspicious.
A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police said: “Shortly after 7pm yesterday we received a report of concern for the welfare of a man in Rushey Fields, Leicester.”
“Officers attended, along with colleagues from the East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS). The man was pronounced dead at the scene.”
“His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.”
