A 15-year-old boy needed hospital treatment after being assaulted by a group of people in a Leicester park.
The teenager was assaulted in Braunstone Park, at around 8.45pm on Tuesday 10 April. The boy was approached by a group of people and sustained a number of injuries in the attack.
He was treated at hospital and has since been discharged.
Police are continuing with their enquiries into the incident and are appealing for information.
Police Constable Gemma Stevens said: “We are asking anyone who was in the area of Braunstone Park on Tuesday evening to think back to if they saw the incident or if they have any information which could help us.”
“Did you see anything unusual or out of the ordinary which caused you concern? Do you have any CCTV or dashcam footage from the area which could help our investigation?”
