A woman and a child were taken to hospital after their car collided into another vehicle this morning in Leicestershire.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Langton Road, in the village of Tur Langton, near Kibworth, at about 9am this morning.
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue attended the scene along with Police and Paramedics.
One of the cars landed on its roof in the collision, however nobody was trapped inside the vehicle.
The Fire Service said three people were taken to hospital, including a child, however their injuries are not thought be life threatening.
The road was closed for over an hour whilst emergency services dealt with the incident.
A spokesman for Leicestershire Fire and Rescue later tweeted “We have just attended a road traffic collision. Please make sure that you allow extra time for your journey and drive to the conditions.”
“With the wet, greasy roads and low dazzling sun you’ll need to slow down especially on winding roads and make sure you keep on your own side of the road.”
