A woman has been taken to hospital after a car collided into several stationary vehicles and landed on its roof yesterday evening.
The collision happened on Thurmaston Lane in the Hamilton area of the city at around 9.30pm.
Emergency services were called to assist the driver of the vehicle, who managed to get herself out of the flipped car.
The woman was treated by fire crews at the scene and later taken to hospital by ambulance. Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
No one else was injured in the incident.
A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police said: “We received a report at 9.30pm of a single vehicle being involved in collisions with four stationary vehicles on Thurmaston Lane.”
“A person was taken to Leicester Royal Infirmary. It is believed her injuries were not life-threatening.”
