Detectives investigating a fatal collision in Birstall, in which a 16-year-old boy died have renewed their appeal for information.
CCTV footage has been released and Police would like to trace the occupants of a dark coloured car to come forward.
Dylan Campbell, from Birstall, was involved in a collision with an Audi, just after 12.15am on Sunday 29 April.
He died as a result of his injuries. No one else was injured in the incident.
The driver of the Audi was not arrested.
However, officers are keen to trace this dark coloured car, which was travelling on the A6 towards Loughborough at the time of the collision.
Detectives believe the occupants of the car may have vital information that will help the investigation.
The car can be seen approaching the junction with Johnson Road in the CCTV footage, and again near to the junction with Greengate Lane.
Detective Constable Seamus Burns said: “Extensive enquiries have been carried out since this collision and the people in this dark coloured car we’ve identified might have key information about the incident.”
“I would like to stress that the people in the car aren’t in any trouble, but may have witnessed something – however small, and insignificant it may seem to them – that will give me that vital piece of information for my investigation.”
If you can help police with their enquiries, please call 101 and ask to speak to the Serious Collision Investigation Unit.
