A motorist had to be rescued after driving his car into three feet of floodwater in Leicestershire.
The incident happened yesterday (11 Feb) and fire crews had to rescue the driver using an inflatable raft.
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue are warning other drivers of the dangers. Southern Fire Service posted on Twitter: “Today we attended a car which had been driven into flood water. As you can see from the photo, it was nearly 3ft high. Person rescued using inflatable sled. Please think before driving through, you can be stranded and also your car could be a right off.”
