Firefighters are dealing with a huge fire in Leicester city centre this morning.
The fire broke out in a three-storey building on Pingle Street, in the Frog Island area of the city.
A call was received by Leicestershire Fire & Rescue at 1.30am. Crews responded from Market Harborough, Wigston, Loughborough and Birstall stations.
Firefighters dealt with the fire from the outside of the building, due to the scale of the blaze.
The fire has been largely brought under control, with just one hose now being used to dampen down any hotspots.
Roads around the area have been impacted and drivers advised to avoid the area if possible.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
