Firefighters have been busy all night tackling a huge blaze in Melton.
The fire started in a building at Asfordby Business Park at around 1am this morning.
Giant clouds of smoke could still be seen above the building this morning, with fire crews still at the scene at midday.
Police have cordoned off a wide area around the scene.
The building on fire was being used for recycling insulation and refrigeration materials and contained a number of gas cylinders inside.
It’s believed no injuries were reported in the incident.
A spokesperson for Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service said: “We’ve still got four appliances at the scene, as well as the technical rescue team, the aerial ladder platform, the command vehicle and a water carrier from Market Harborough.”
“They are still dealing with the fire and it’s still creating plumes of smoke.”
