Leicester’s biggest firework display this weekend

Leicester’s biggest bonfire and fireworks display will take place in Abbey Park on Saturday 4th November.

The famous display offers a great night out and this year’s event includes a live stage show, fire jugglers and games for the whole family.

This year, the event will start at 5pm, with last entry to Abbey Park at 7.30pm. The stage show gets under way at 6pm, with a full programme of live music presented by Jo and Sparky from Gem 106 radio.

At 6.45pm, a quieter fireworks display for young children will take place, followed by the lighting of the bonfire.

The evening’s entertainment will be rounded off at 8pm with the main fireworks display.

Adavance tickets cost £5 for adults, £3.50 for concessions and £14 for families (two adults and two children). Children under five get in free.

Advance tickets are available from Visit Leicester on Gallowtree Gate and De Montfort Hall box office, up until 5pm today. They are also available on the gate at Abbey Park up until 3pm today.

Full price tickets will then be available on the gate costing £7 for adults, and £5 for concessions. No family tickets will be available at the gate.

Please remember, there will be no parking on the night at Abbey Park, Abbey Park Road, St Margaret’s pastures or the surrounding areas, so please plan your travel arrangements in advance.
