A man has died in a street in the Beaumont Leys area of Leicester.
Police were called to the scene by paramedics who attended the call just after 12pm yesterday lunchtime. The man was found on Heacham Drive in Beaumont Leys.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His death is not bring treated as suspicious.
A Leicestershire Police spokesperson said: “We were called to Heacham Drive in Leicester just after 12 noon today by the ambulance service due to concern for the well-being of a man.”
“The man, who was in the street, was subsequently pronounced dead.”
“His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.”
Police have not released the identity of the man who died.
