A man has died in a road traffic collision involving three vehicles in Whitwick, Leicestershire.
The incident happened yesterday (15 October) on Leicester Road. Police responded to a call at about 7.20pm to reports of an accident.
It is believed the victim is a 35-year-old man. Police have not named him as formal identification is yet to take place.
The accident involved a red Kia Cee’d, being driven by the deceased, it was travelling on Leicester Road, towards Whitwick, when it collided with a grey Volkswagen Polo, traveling from the opposite direction, towards Copt Oak.
The third vehicle, a black BMW 118, was also traveling towards Copt Oak and collided with debris in the road.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the vehicles before the collision, or the collision itself, to get in touch with them immediately.
