Warning after man exposes himself to children in Coalville park

Leicestershire Police would like to trace a man after he exposed himself to children in a park over the weekend.

A description of the man has been given and officers are asking for help from the public.

The incident happened on Sunday 11 August, at about 7pm at a park in Cropston Drive in Coalville.

A group of children said a man wearing gold aviator glasses exposed himself to them. The children immediately left the park after the incident.

The suspect is described as around 5ft 3ins tall, he was clean-shaven with mousy, blonde cropped hair.

He was wearing an electric blue tracksuit, a dark hat and gold-mirrored aviator sunglasses and white trainers. The man was also wearing a square black bag across his body.

PC Natasha Perkins said: “I’d like to speak to anyone who was in Cropston Drive, the park or the surrounding area on Sunday and saw a man matching this description.”

“Any information you have could help with my investigation.”

“We take reports of this nature extremely seriously and would encourage anyone who is subjected to indecent exposure to contact police.”
