A man has been found dead at a property in Leicester today.
Police and ambulances were called to the house in South Wigston this morning, after receiving reports of concern for the man.
A number of police cars and paramedics responded to the call, however the man was pronounced dead shortly after they arrived.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
Local residents said they saw a number of police cars and ambulances rush into the street, but had no idea what was happening.
A spokesman for the Police said: “We were called to an address in South Wigston shortly after 9am after receiving a report of concern for a man.
“Officers and members of the East Midlands Ambulance Service attended, however, the man was pronounced dead shortly after they arrived.”
“A file is being prepared for the coroner.”
