A man who died in a crash in Leicestershire earlier this month has been named by Police.

Andrew Durant from Oadby was driving a BMW on Bruntingthorpe Road, Lutterworth, when he was involved in a three-car collision. The accident took place on 3rd July at about 4.45pm.

The 24-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The driver of the car transporter, which was also involved in the crash, sustained minor injuries and was taken to University Hospital, Coventry.

The third vehicle involved was a Ford Fiesta, the driver of which was not injured in the incident.

An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving but was later released under investigation.
