Police name teenager killed in head-on collision near Market Harborough

Police have named a teenager killed in a head-on collision in Foxton last week.

He was 17-year-old Ryan Tealby from Market Harborough.

Ryan was a rear seat passenger in a silver Volkswagen Polo when it collided head-on with a blue Toyota Avensis on Langton Lane on Tuesday 19 November.

Emergency services were called to the incident, however Ryan was declared dead at the scene.

The front seat passenger in the Polo sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital in a serious condition. They have now been released from hospital.

Ryan’s family has been devastated by the tragedy. They have released a picture of Ryan and asked to be given privacy at this difficult time.

An online fundraiser launched to help pay for Ryan’s funeral has already raised over £5000. Contributions can be made here.
