Police have named a man who died following a collision on the M69 motorway.
The collision happened at about 10am on Tuesday 10 October on the northbound carriageway, between junctions 1 & 2. It involved three vehicles, a breakdown recovery truck, a black BMW 1 Series, and a white Transit van.
The driver of the recovery vehicle, 42-year-old Christopher Hadland, from Leicester, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the van sustained serious injuries and was taken to the University Hospitals of Coventry and Warwickshire where he remains in a stable condition. The passenger in the recovery vehicle was also taken to hospital and has since been discharged.
