Search underway for missing teen from Leicester

Police are becoming increasingly worried for a teenage girl who has gone missing from her home in Leicester.

Officers are appealing to the public for information about the missing girl and for anyone who may have seen her or knows where she might be, to come forward.

Thirteen-year-old Linsey-Anne Rundu from Blaby was reported missing yesterday (Wednesday 12 June). She was last seen near the Market Place in Leicester city centre at around 10pm on Tuesday 11 June.

Police are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare and are appealing for anyone who knows of her whereabouts to make contact.


Linsey-Ann is black, around 5ft 4ins tall and of a slim build. She has black platted mid-length hair but has recently acquired a blonde wig, which she may be wearing. She has brown eyes and her ears are pierced.

It is believed she is wearing black Nike trainers and may be carrying a large black handbag.

Anyone who has seen Linsey-Ann, or has information about where she may be, is asked to call Leicestershire Police on 101, quoting incident 383 of 12 June.
