Police investigating a serious collision in Leicester last month have released an image of a car they would like to trace.
The crash happened outside the BP petrol station on Melton Road, Leicester, in the early hours of Sunday 10 June.
The collision involved a red Ford Fiesta and a black Suzuki GSF motorcycle shortly after 1.30am.
The rider of the motorcycle sustained serious injuries and remains in hospital.
Officers would like to speak to the driver of the vehicle in the CCTV images, as they may have vital information about the collision and what happened immediately prior to the incident.
Alison Briance, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “We are very keen to trace any witnesses to this collision, particularly the occupants of the vehicle shown in this still image who may be particularly vital.”
“The vehicle stopped at the scene and parked up on the pavement but left prior to emergency services arrival. We really would like to speak to the occupants, even if they do not believe they have anything valuable to tell us; we need all the information possible, no matter how small it may seem.”
“If you were in the vehicle or know who was, please get in touch.”
