A preview of a new £5.5m work space set to boost business in Coalville has been revealed.
Vulcan Park is being created by Leicestershire County Council to support start-ups and firms looking to expand, and will create more than 120 jobs.
The 41,000 sq ft building – part-funded by the Leicester and Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership (LLEP) – will offer a range of high-spec industrial units to let with unit sizes from 1,000 sq. ft.
More than 10 companies have already expressed an interest in Vulcan Park, which will be located on Vulcan Way.
County Council Leader, Nick Rushton, Said: “The new park underlines that Leicestershire is truly open for business, and I’m pleased the project is progressing.”
“By offering quality premises to fledgling firms and businesses wanting to grow, we’re keen to boost the local economy and help regenerate Coalville.”
“Investing in property also means we can generate income to plough back into services”
Construction is expected to get underway later this year.
