Thieves have broken into a clothing designer store in Leicester city centre stealing hundreds of pounds worth of high end items.
The ram raid occurred at the Flannels designer store on Halford Street, where BHS was once located.
Police were alerted just after midnight today (March 11) about the break-in. It’s believed five people were involved in the raid.
A cordon remains in place and officers are still at the scene outside the store.
Shattered glass can be seen on the pavement and the metal shutters have also been damaged in the raid.
It is believed a large amount of items were stolen by the thieves.
An investigation into the incident is underway and police are appealing for information or for any witnesses to get in touch.
