Teenager stabbed multiple times in Leicester

A teenager suffered multiple stab wounds last night in the Rowlatts Hill area of Leicester.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident which happened yesterday (7 October) at about 9pm.

Officers were alerted to the scene in Balderstone Close in Rowlatts Hill, near to the Co-op store.

The 18-year-old victim was taken to Leicester Royal Infirmary. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, however he remains in hospital.

Detectives are currently investigating the incident and no arrests have been made.

The Police would like to hear from anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the attack and are urging anyone who witnessed anything to come forward with information.
