Two men stabbed in fight in Leicester

Two men were injured in a fight on Friday night and have both been taken to hospital with stabbing injuries.

The incident took place around 7.30pm on Friday 12th May on Thurncourt Road, in the Thurnby Lodge area of Leicester.

During the incident two men sustained stab wounds and are being treated at Leicester Royal Infirmary and at Nottingham’s Queens Medical Centre. They are in a stable condition.

Part of the road was cordoned off as Police carried out their investigations.

Enquiries are in their early stages and officers are keen to hear from anyone who was passing through the area and saw anything they think could help.

Two men, aged 21 and 22, have been arrested for violent disorder and are in custody.
