A woman is in a serious condition after being struck by a car in a hospital car park in Leicester.
The pedestrian, believed to be in her sixties, was hit by a car yesterday afternoon in the Glenfield Hospital car park.
The collision took place at around 1pm and involved a grey Vauxhall Corsa and the woman.
The woman was taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham, where she remains in a critical condition.
The driver of the Corsa was not injured.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision to come forward as they may have information which could help officers with their investigation.
