Woman from Loughborough jailed for using her home as a ‘trap house’ to sell drugs

A woman from Leicester has been jailed for using her home as a ‘trap house’ to sell drugs in the community.

The 36-year-old from Loughborough used her house to supply class A drugs like cocaine and heroin.

Blake was arrested as part of Operation Lionheart, which found that she had been selling drugs from a number of previous addresses as well.

The force’s anti-drugs campaign has seen more than 100 suspects charged so far, with 31 people sentenced.

Blake pleaded guilty at Leicester Crown Court yesterday (8 July) to five counts of supplying class A drugs and one count of permitting the use of premises for the supply of class A.

Blake was sentenced to two and a half years in prison for the offences.
