A woman has been taken to hospital with “serious injuries” after she became trapped under a crashed car in Narborough.
The incident happened just after 1.20pm this lunchtime, on Leicester Road in Narborough.
Police say two cars were involved in the accident. A female, believed to be a pedestrian, was trapped under one of the vehicles.
She has sustained serious injuries and has been taken to Coventry and Walsgrave General Hospital for treatment.
Another person has also been taken to the Leicester Royal Infirmary for treatment. Their condition it not known.
Police have placed a cordon around Station Road and Leicester Road, whilst the area is being made safe.
Officers are appealing for witnesses who saw the accident to come forward with information.
